This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a sole source purchase order to Phillips Corporation (Cage: 3MPQ0) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603.
The contractor identified above is the only known source that can meet all of the requirements. This is not a "full and open" competitive solicitation and quotes are not being requested from vendors other than Machine-Tek, Inc. However, the determination to compete, or not compete, this requirement is solely at the discretion of the Government.
