The Northland Job Corps Center has a large project to assist in energy conservation by changing building heating systems from fuel oil to propane burning systems.
The project includes:
The removal of 12 underground oil tanks ranging from 2000 up to 8000 gallons in capacity
Replacing numerous pneumatic valves with thermostatic radiator valves in buildings, and replacing pneumatically actuated exhaust fan controls with line voltage thermostats.
Converting numerous existing boilers from oil fired to propane fired systems
Installing pipe insulation

A mandatory walk through for this entire project will take place at 9:00 am Eastern Standard time at the Northlands Job Corps Center on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. All bidders MUST attend this meeting. Sign in sheet is required for all vendors upon arrival on Center. Bids will not be accepted from any vendor that does not attend this mandatory meeting. The meeting will take place at the Northlands Job Corps Center's Conference Room in the Administration Building #1 at the address given.
All current licenses, insurances and certifications are due with the bid packet.
All vendors at time of award are required to sign an Anti-Lobbying Certification Form.
