Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Sill, Oklahoma intends to award a sole source contract to vendor, Southwest Solutions Group which will provide Spacesaver Shelving System Solutions in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8.405-6, only one responsible source and no other supply will satisfy agency requirements. Acquisition is for additional shelving to connect/match existing shelving unit for Morris Swett Library and Book Room with SpaceSaver Shelving System. Requirement provides: One single face, Spacesaver cantilever section of shelving with 1 base shelf and 6 intermediate shelves and wire dividers, 1 per shelf opening to match existing. Area 2, two Spacesaver drawers per each to three sections of existing shelving, one custom wood end panel to match existing, Area 3, nineteen Spacesaver sections of shelving, nine custom end panels to match existing wood panels within the Research Library. Area 4, four sections of shelving, two custom end panels to match existing, three vertical file cabinets, two cord bulletin boards to backs of two sections of shelving, one 4-drawer base cabinets, counter tops are constructed of laminate, cabinets include locks, tack boards, lighting, etc. Area 5, one section of shelving. All shelving must match/connect to existing shelving by brand and color.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337215 and the size standard is 500 employees.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or a solicitation for offers and is posted for seven (7) calendar days. No solicitation package will be available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 4:00 pm CST, 27 May 2014, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract is based on this notice and a Sources Sought Notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
