Request for Information Technology for Business (TFB) Maintenance

This is a Request for Information (RFI), only, issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 15.201(e), for the purpose of conducting market research. Accordingly, this RFI constitutes neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a guarantee that one will be issued by the Government in the future; furthermore, it does not commit the Government to contract for any supplies and/or incidental services described herein. DO NOT SUBMIT A PROPOSAL OR QUOTE. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is not, at this time, seeking proposals or quotes, and therefore, will not accept, review, or evaluate unsolicited proposals or quotes received in response hereto. Please be advised that the VA will not reimburse Respondents, in any way, for any costs incurred in the preparation and/or submission of responses to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the Respondent s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary; however, any information received shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the Respondent. Interested parties are responsible for adequately and clearly marking proprietary, restricted, and/or completion sensitive information contained within their response.

VA is seeking responses from any Vendor Information Pages (VIP)-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) vendors interested in and capable of performing all requirements as stated in the attached Product Description for TFB Maintenance under the Information Technology Value Added Reseller (VAR) exception to the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code 541519 (Other Computer Related Services), which has a size standard of 150 or less employees. Affirmative responses must include additional information as necessary to clearly demonstrate capability to perform this requirement.

All responses shall be sent via email to robert.kirzow@va.gov and timothy.pearson@va.gov no later than 10:00 AM ET, August 21, 2018. VA will acknowledge receipt of response via Email. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within one business day of submittal, please follow-up with the individuals identified herein.
