TELEPHONE SYSTEM REPLACMENT

The County is seeking proposals for the design and installation of a fully redundant, approximately 300 (306) communications device VoIP telephone system for the County’s new Emergency Operations Center (housing the Office of Emergency Management, County Communications and E-911 Center, Fire Marshal’s Office, Sheriff’s DED (Drug Enforcement Division) Detectives, and Amateur Radio), its existing Sheriff’s Office, Detention Center, Public Works Department, EMS Department (Ambulance Service), and Water Customer Services Department. These Departments are housed in four (4) physical plants. The proposed solution shall deliver the same features and functionality at all sites via a fiber IP backbone, and provide automatic failover in the event of a WAN service interruption. This system is to replace an existing Centrex phone system.
