TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR AVIONICS FOR SCALED REMOTELY OPERATED VEHICLES PRODUCT
NASA/LARC has a requirement for technical support for the Avionics for Scaled Remotely Operated Vehicles poduct which was developed under a Small Business Research Innovative (SBIR) Phase III.
NASA/LARC intends to purchase the items from Coherent Technical Services, Inc (CTSi) since this was developed under a SBIR Phase III and will need additional technical support through the existing Redmine system for bug/issue tracking. The support ranges from advice on how to best integrate NASA application code with the unit, to modifications to the firmware loads on ASROV required to fix problems or add new functionality.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on July 17, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
