The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL intends to award, on other than full and open competition a new follow-on 60 month Contractor Field Service Representative (CFSR) contract for the General Electric (GE) T700 series engine. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will allow for the issuance of task orders on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) basis for an estimated total of sixty-five (65) man years. The contractor will provide CFSR support for the T700 series engine on the UH/HH60Black Hawk and AH-64 Apache aircrafts. These services are military unique in support of military T700 series engine program. CFSRs are to be supplied by General Electric Company, GE - Aviation (GE-A), 1 Neumann Way, Cincinnati, OH 45215-1988, large business, CAGE Code: 07482. The contractor will be required to provide support in CONUS and OCONUS locations. The contractor will provide a communications link for the CFSRs to contact the engineering section at the manufacturer's facility to enable immediate resolution of technical problems that exceed organic capability. A direct communications link is essential to maintain unit readiness and aircraft availability. These services are required to transmit the knowledge necessary to the Department of the Army military and civilian personnel, as well as FMS customers, of the technical skill capabilities needed to operate and maintain the equipment.
