T56-A-427A Basic Ordering Agreement Delivery Order
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-13-G-0011 with Rolls Royce Corporation. The anticipated sole source delivery order will include a base year and four (4) 12 month option years. The prospective contract will be for the receipt, inspection, disassembly, repair and/or modification, assembly, testing, and preservation of the T56-A-427A Propulsion System, modules and components. The Contractor will provide facilities, labor, material, field teams, technical and customer services, travel and arrange for outside services, as required, to return items to a Ready For Issue (RFI) condition. The delivery order will include one Firm Fixed Price Contract Line Item Number for the Teardown, Build up and Test of the T56-A-427A. The three major modules of the engine to be maintained and repaired under this contract will be the Navy's T56-A-427A Power Sections, Reduction Gear Assemblies, and Torquemeters. When all technical publications have been completed for the T56-427A engine, it is anticipated in the future that the Navy will compete these repair requirements.
