The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for Potential Offeror/Contractor to provide all labor and materials to accomplish various inspections and tests to numerous life boats, a rescue boat and davits in accordance with all applicable U.S. Coast Guard regulations and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) rules onboard Training Ship KENNEDY located at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, 101 Academy Drive, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532, in accordance with the Statement of Work.

 

The requested period of performance is on or about September 10, 2019 with completion by September 30, 2019.

 

This requirement is Subject to the Availability of Funds and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds (Apr 1984) applies.

ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at the prime rate, as published daily in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75 percent.
