System Preservation
The proposed work consists of milling the existing Asphaltic Concrete and replacing it with new Asphaltic Concrete (End Product) (Special Mix) and Asphalt-Rubber Asphaltic Concrete Friction Course. In addition, a portion of the travel lane will be rehabilitated with a Hot-in-Place Recycling operation, blending the recycled asphalt pavement with an emulsified rejuvenating agent and virgin open-graded Asphaltic Concrete Friction Course (Miscellaneous). Additional work includes constructing concrete barriers, replacing guardrail and guardrail end terminals, replacing deck joint assembly, replacing existing pavement markings, seeding, removing vegetation, slab jacking, and other miscellaneous work.
