Synopsis for continuation of Industrial Engineering Services. Period of performance estimated 60 months.
The Precision Fires Rocket and Missile System Project Office (PFRMS) requires a five-year contract for the continuation of Industrial Engineering Services (IES) for programs related to the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Family of Munitions (MFOM) including Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) Block I/IA, ATACMS Unitary, Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS), Low Cost Reduced Range Practice Rocket (LCRRPR), all MLRS launcher platforms, subsystems and variants thereto, including the M270, M270A1, M270B1, M270B2, M270C1, M270D1, High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), and ancillary support equipment. The period of performance is estimated at 60 months.
Under the authority of FAR6.302-1, this requirement is restricted to Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control (LMMFC), CAGE Code 64059, Grand Prairie, TX. LMMFC is the designer, developer, producer, and prime contractor of the MLRS, ATACMS, GMLRS, LCRRPR, M270, M270A1, M270B1, M270B2 and HIMARS hardware and software, and as such, is the only source having the experience and expertise to accomplish this requirement.
