Synopsis - 150 each M1151A1B1 with option for 184 each M1151A1B1 and option 72 each M1152
Synopsis:
Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to solicit a sole source, firm-fixed price, contract modification under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) for the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs) variant M1151A1B1, NSN: 2320-01-540-2038, and M1152, NSN 2320-01-518-7332. The proposed contract action is for a quantity of 150 each of variant M1151A1B1 and option quantities for 184 each M1151A1B1 and 72 each of variant M1152.
The Government does not currently have a competitive Technical Data Package (TDP), which is required to manufacture the M1151A1B1 and M1152. The M1151A1B1 and M1152 variants include air conditioning systems and Reliability Enhancement Vehicle (REV) components that improves engine cooling and vehicle suspension for increased reliability and performance. In addition, the M1151A1B1 variant also includes updated armor packages that improves vehicle protection.
The HMMWV is the highly mobile, diesel-powered, four-wheel-drive vehicle that performs various special and multipurpose missions in combat, combat support, and combat service support for the U.S. Armed Forces and FMS customers.
The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336992. The inspection/acceptance and FOB points are all "Origin".
Although it is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source. AM General, LLC (Cage Code 0H3G6), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
