Symphony Orchestra Concert Tour
The Orchestra desires to travel to Washington, DC, and New York City in May 2013 as a performance oriented educational and cultural outreach activity for the Orchestra. The tour will include concert performances by the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra in both cities, with additional activities focused upon experiencing the rich musical, cultural, and historical institutions in both cities. It is anticipated that the tour will provide remarkable musical experiences for the students, while enhancing the curriculum and development of the University’s symphony orchestra. Therefore, the University is seeking to partner with a travel agency that will handle all aspects of the tour and provide a quality experience.
