The reason for this amendment is to correct VA242-17-Q-0419 description.
The purpose of this synopsis is to provide a notice to the public of information applicable to the Symbia CT Service maintenance for the Veterans Administration, James J. Peters VA Medical Center (VAMC).
Authority: Network Contracting Office (NCO2) is issuing this synopsis in accordance with FAR Part 5.204 Pre-solicitation Notices.
Description:
Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, repair service, software updates, parts, etc.,
for complete On-Site Maintenance Service and technical support as specified below in accordance
with the terms, conditions and schedule of this agreement. This will include sources for the Biograph
mCT 64 (Biograph mCT Annual replacement kit), which will be replaced on an annual basis.

EQUIPMENT: Equipment to be serviced/maintained includes all Siemens Nuclear Medicine Department equipment and their components, including but not limited to all servers, workstations, peripherals:

Sole Source/Competitive Acquisition: This will be unrestricted competitive acquisition.
Period of Performance: This acquisition contains a base year with 4 one-year option periods for a total contract period of performance of 5 years.
Release Date of the Solicitation: It is anticipated that Solicitation No. VA242-17-Q-0419 will be released in April 2017. Should complications arise resulting in a delay in the release of the solicitation; the Contracting Officer will provide an update through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO).
