Switch Modules
Solicitation N00421-14-T-0413 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order. The requested Switch Modules are Digitran DBA: Electro Switch Corp. products. Digitran is the only known vendor of the switch modules. The new switch modules must be compatible in form, fit, and function with existing equipment. All other sources will cause compatibility issues, which would cause additional expense and a schedule delay. Digitran will provide the switch modules under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. Request is set-aside for Total Small Business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.

Estimated Delivery Date After Receipt of Order
Award is expected July 28, 2014. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 9:00am est., July 18, 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
