The Department of Veterans Affairs is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for TranspoNet Stations (Brand Name or Equal) at the VA Greater Los Angeles Health Care System. Please note that this Request for Information (RFI) is for information only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirement are invited to submit information describing their capability to provide the required services.
OVERVIEW: The primary purpose of this service is to provide materials to replace existing receiving bins of the existing pneumatic tube stations with a whisper kit compatible with the SWISSLOG TRANSLOGIC TranspoNetTM Pneumatic Tube System (Brand Name or Equal) TranspoNet Stations dispatch and receive lab specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, documents, supplies, and other materials to and from the hospital s pneumatic tube system (PTS), which is in compliance with VAGLAHS Infection control standards.

The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis.
