Sustainement and Support System Movement and Recovery Program
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) 47123 Buse Rd, Patuxent River, MD 20670, intends to negotiate a sole source task order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-14-G-0021 with Rockwell Collins, Inc., 3200 East Renner Rd, Richardson, TX 75082 for the Preparation Phase supporting the movement of Sustainment and Support Systems (SASS) for the E-6B program. This contract action will procure the advanced preparatory effort required to move the SASS, located at the Rockwell Collins facility in Richardson, TX, to a Government-designated site, if needed. The planned period of performance is 25-Aug-2014 to 25-Feb-2015.
This intended procurement will be processed pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1), whereby the supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rockwell Collins is the only contractor with the necessary technical data to perform this support effort for the identified systems. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by NAVAIR.
