Sustainable Communities in Metro Boston
A new federal grant program known as the Sustainable Communities Initiative provides Metro Boston with the opportunity to apply for up to $5 million to support regional planning and sustainable development. MAPC is convening a consortium of cities, towns, nonprofits, business interests, and funders to pursue this opportunity. The proposal includes activities ranging from neighborhood planning to regional policy, all designed to advance equity and sustainability.
We are seeking consortium partners, local projects, and innovative policies for a competitive application that will benefit the entire Greater Boston Region.
