Surveying Equipment
The intent of this bid is to solicit prices to purchase the following Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)
equipment and accessories that will be utilized by ConnDOTs Survey Operations Unit:
1) Trimble NetR5 (GNSS) Base Station Receivers. No substitutes will be accepted.
(ConnDOT is standardized on Trimble Navigation GNSS equipment).
2) Trimble GNSS Field Receivers and accessories in accordance with the attached specifications. No
substitutes will be accepted.
Standards meeting or exceeding Model SPS 881 Trimble Receivers are acceptable. In the event that it
can be shown that the Trimble Model R-8 GNSS Receiver can either achieve or replace the
communications need of a non-cellular license free wireless device, it may also be acceptable.
