Airfield obstruction surveys and analysis for Army airfields and heliports including project approach; responsibilities and interaction with airfield managers; required feature collection, feature collection accuracies; survey field procedures; selection of imaginary surfaces; identification and reporting of minimum clearance features; chart development; required deliverables; and the survey review process.
Additionally this requirement will be used to provide geospatial data for planning, design, research, construction, operation, and maintenance of various military and civil projects located throughout the Nation. Firms need to be able to collect and produce orthophotography, LiDAR, boundary survey, Dam deformation surveys, hydrographic surveys, topographic surveys, and utility locates. Products may need to be delivered in GIS and/or 3D CAD.
Task Orders focus on job-specific parameters such as project area, data resolution, vertical and horizontal datum, coordinate systems, surface models and delivery formats.
