Support of the Public Health Emergency Surveillance System
Hospitals within the State are required to report certain emergency department
encounter information electronically. The
Department seeks a vendor to capture this information from the
hospital, organize and standardize the data as needed, and facilitate the transmission of
the information to the Department in near real-time. It is the intent of the
Department to contract with a vendor to provide such services for support of
the Public Health Emergency Surveillance System.
