Substance Abuse Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Training Services
Through its HIV Connection group, Contractor shall provide a coordinated system of training, workforce development, and technical assistance by providing or subcontracting to provide Statewide Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) training services and technical assistance that focus on teaching counseling, case management skills, and targeted outreach skills. Contractor shall provide HIV training services (HTS) to DSHS-funded contractors that provide HIV or HIV Early Intervention (HEI) services to Mental Health Substance Abuse(MHSA) HIV/HEI substance abuse contractors that serve clients who have or are at high risk for communicable diseases associated with substance abuse and high risk sexual behaviors, or sexually transmitted diseases (STD). Contractor shall provide HIV training services to DSHS HIV/STD- funded contractors.
