Study to Establish Free Trade Area
The Forum includes four countries, namely, Ethiopia, Sudan, Yemen and Somalia that agreed to
promote regional trade and economic partnership through cross border trade liberalization with establishment of a sub-regional Free
Trade Area (FTA). With the view of facilitating this process, it was agreed to commission a study to assess the possibility of establishing the FTA, and its impact on Ethiopias economy.
