Study the Social Impacts of Natural Resource Development
The State is seeking a contractor to conduct research to assess the impact of natural resource development on local communities. The contractor will do a complete literature review regarding boomtowns and their social and economic impacts. Using prior literature as a guide, the contractor will conduct face-to-face and focus group interviews. Additionally, the contractor will work with the Montana Statistical Analysis Center to identify data sources that can be used in the study and data gaps where additional data collection may be considered.
