Student Services Contractor / (Web Application Support) for US EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD).
The Office of Science Information Management (OSIM), part of the Office of Research and Development (ORD) at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency oversees numerous information management systems and provides leadership with enterprise information management and technology operations and support. OSIM is in the process of implementing VIVO , an open source semantic web application that facilitates research discovery within and among organizations. OSIM is seeking two (2) students to oversee the system's data and vocabularies, from entering and curating data in the system, to further developing and maintaining the local ontology.

Physical Work Location(s): The official duty station will be located at: (1) US EPA/ORD's Headquarters offices in Washington, DC (or Arlington, VA); (2) US EPA/ORD offices in Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC; (3) or both.
