Student Loan Default Prevention Services
Proposer will work with College’s borrowers who are more than 60 days delinquent in
paying on their student loans to help prevent loan defaults by: providing assistance in
communications with servicers and/or guarantors; assisting the borrower through the
complex processes of student loan programs; assisting borrowers in selecting loan repayment
options that fit their circumstances best; assisting borrowers in obtaining deferments and
forbearances; encouraging borrowers to make payments; and other means of default aversion
as are prudent and appropriate.
