Student Financial Services System
Request For Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of obtaining proposals from qualified firms to provide implementation of the Student Financial Services System.
This new system will include the State's Education Trust (MET) System and may include other systems within the Bureau such as the systems that support the Office of Scholarships and Grants.
The SOM will consider solutions including Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) application, configurable applications, an Application Service Provider model or a ground up development that meets the requirements of the SOM.
For proposals that present COTS packages, or configurable applications, it is the States intent to implement systems that do not require source code level changes, or if there are source code level changes, that they become part of the base code of the vendors application.
