Street rehabilitation
In general, the work consists of street rehabilitation and improvements, including edgegrinding existing asphalt pavement, demolishing concrete cross gutter, repairing localized pavement failures, crack sealing, placing pavement reinforcing fabric, placing asphalt pavement overlay, curb painting and pavement markings, adjusting utility structures to grade, removal and replacement of miscellaneous curb and gutter and sidewalk, installing a curb bulb-out, installing and repairing concrete cross gutter, upgrading existing curb ramps for ADA compliance, street tree removal and replacement, traffic control and other related work, as set forth on the project Plans and Specifications. Some existing sidewalk will be relocated to contiguous with the back of curb as noted on the Plans; some removed street trees will be replaced along the frontage of different properties within the Project area.
