1.0 Description 1.1 The City of Port Coquitlam Banner Program is a municipal beautification initiative which showcases Port Coquitlam's community spirit and pride. 2.0 Specifications/Requirements The Community Banner Program will include 30 designs in total, 25 of which are images with full colour and 5 of which are graphic with logo branding. Banners are to be 210 denier nylon and digitally printed from supplied artwork. Design and colours shall be in accordance with supplied artwork. Pricing includes supply, delivery - FOB Ops Centre, artwork set up and proof prior to production. 2.1 Quantities Total= 262 banners In order to accommodate our hardware system, the banners will be printed for both 2 grommet and 4 grommet designs. The breakdown is as follows: 170 x 2 grommet banners 92 x 4 grommet banners 2.2 Dimensions 2 grommet banners Width: 26 Height: 60.5 4 grommet banners Width: 27 Height: 55 2.3 Finishing All banners must be prepared to be ready for installation, including grommets (2cm, or 3/4 grommet, with 1.2 cm, or 1/2 opening). Seams are to be double stitched. Installation of the banners is not required. 2.4 Materials The fabric (i.e. flag fabric) and ink must be durable throughout the seasons, withstanding bright sunlight, rain, and snow. 3.0 Approximate Schedule Date Submission deadline March 10/15 RFP Award March 24/15 First draft of designs April 1/15 Final designs sent to printers April 10/15 Final printed designs delivered May 1/15 Delivery date is CRITICAL. Please advise in area provided on Quotation Form of earliest delivery date upon receipt of order upon approved artwork. 4.0 General notes Questions should be directed to Don Striha via email only at strihad@portcoquitlam.ca not later than March 4, 2015. A proof and sample of the design is to be approved by the City prior to production of banners. The municipality reserves the right to not award the contract. Submissions will be evaluated based upon ability to work with the City to achieve the design intent, commitment to the schedule, price, references and the perceived quality of the end product.
