Strategic Planning Services for The Corridor
The 30th Street Industrial Corridor Corporation (The Corridor) is seeking proposals for strategic
planning services.
The Corridor is a not-for-profit organization that has been serving businesses on the north side of
Milwaukee since 1991. Our service territory is roughly bounded by Hampton Avenue on the
north, Highland Boulevard on the south, North 35th Street on the west and North 27th Street on
the east. A rail line forms the spine of the area as it slices a narrow path through several
neighborhoods, crosses major east-west arterials and connects active and inactive industrial
parcels. Spanning approximately 5 miles from north to south and containing close to 1000 acres
of land, the corridor is home to many thriving large employers like Eaton Corporation, DRS
Technologies, Capitol Stampings, Harley-Davidson and Master Lock. It is also home to many
smaller, locally owned and family run businesses and manufacturers.
