Metroplan is soliciting qualifications from interested consultants skilled in creating
specific neighborhood development plans that integrate housing design, development
economics, municipal codes and regulations, and supportive infrastructure investments
which clearly demonstrate how livability, sustainability principles can be integrated into
community design and implemented in existing communities to impact the larger
region. Ultimately, the consultant is responsible for creating sub-area development
plans, called Jump Start projects, which will help advance the implementation of the
regional long-range transportation plan, Imagine Central Arkansas.
