Strategic Planning
The State is seeking a qualified contractor to provide facilitation, coordination, and all written documents as part of the strategic planning for the NICS Task Force.
The State oversees the transfer and automation of data to NICS (National Instant Criminal Background Check System) and NCIC (National Crime Information Center). The NSP is seeking proposals for a contractor to serve as a Strategic Planner who will research and collaborate with state agencies and law enforcement.
The contractor must have previous experience in research and planning, and collaborate with various individuals within state agencies and law enforcement to develop a comprehensive strategic plan for NICS compliance. The success of this project will assist the State of Nebraska in achieving full compliance with NICS.
