Strategic Communications and Marketing Services
The provincial Department of Economic and Rural Development (ERD) has a requirement for
communications and marketing services to support the annual Power of Green Conference. As
ERD manages all aspects of the conference, it needs the services of an experienced
communications and marketing professional(s) to support departmental staff. A key goal of the
conference is to engage business and other stakeholders in the Province's sustainable prosperity
agenda. The conference helps advance priorities identified in the cross-government economic
development strategy, Opportunities for Sustainable Prosperity, and in the Environmental Goals
and Sustainable Prosperity Act. About 400 delegates attended last year, with strong
representation from business leaders all levels of government, communities, academia and nongovernmental
organizations (NGOs). Success is also based on involvement by partners and
sponsors from the public and private sectors.
