Strategic brand development and creative direction
Collaborative creative conceptualization to leverage the brand
Stellar graphic design for digital (web), print and video media
Account service support
Production coordination for all of the above
Work directly and interactively with USCAP's Director of Marketing and other support staff as needed
Innovative ideation to enhance USCAP's member experience virtually and at all onsite events

I. BACKGROUND
For more than 100 years, the USCAP has been the global leader for advancing knowledge in the field of pathology. We uniquely offer the highest standards of pathology education and attract leaders among our 10,000 members in more than 26 key pathology concentrations.

Through our remarkable faculty and by supporting innovation and scientific breakthroughs in our field, the USCAP leads "pathology excellence through education" around the world.

We do this by:
Convening signature meetings and congresses that foster the active exchange of scientific information and ideas.
Creating groundbreaking, ACCME accredited pathology education.
Organizing global symposia, workshops, seminars and courses that enhance pathologists' laboratory and clinical acumen
Promoting pathology research through scientific awards and the MyPathTM application, which, in partnership with the NIH PubMed database, enables pathologists to speed data discovery, organize findings and share them with collaborators
Publishing groundbreaking information in our high-impact peer-reviewed journals, Laboratory Investigation and Modern Pathology

Our mission is to provide pathologists with high quality information at the investigative and applied practice level to reinforce and update their knowledge of pathology in their unique area(s) of interest

II. REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS/SCOPE OF WORK

The USCAP is seeking a qualified firm to provide the following services:
Strategic brand development and creative direction
Collaborative creative conceptualization to leverage the brand
Stellar graphic design for digital (web), print and video media
Account service support
Production coordination for all of the above
Work directly and interactively with USCAP's Director of Marketing and other support staff as needed
Innovative ideation to enhance USCAP's member experience virtually and at all onsite events
Compliance and delivery on deadlines for all projects throughout the year, as directed by USCAP

III. RFP SCHEDULE
Issue Date: Tuesday, July 1, 2014
Submission Date: Thursday, July 31, 2014 by close of business, Pacific Time.
Decision Date: by August 15, 20014

IV. SELECTION CRITERIA
The USCAP will evaluate proposals based on the following:
Review and evaluation of sample projects that are representative of the USCAP's
requirements, as reflected in the RFP

Review and evaluation of the firm's skills, experience and proposed approach to
fulfill the USCAP's requirements

Review and evaluation of cost of the program

Vendor agency must be within a 100-mile radius of Palm Springs for collaborative access

The USCAP reserves the right to select one firm to handle all scopes within this RFP or multiple firms for individual scope items.

V. DISCLOSURES
There is no expressed or implied obligation for the USCAP to reimburse responding companies for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.

USCAP reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals submitted.

During the evaluation process, the USCAP reserves the right to request additional information or clarifications from proposers.

At the discretion of the USCAP, firms submitting proposals may be requested to make oral presentations as part of the evaluation process.

The USCAP reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted and to use any ideas in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in this request for proposals, unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between the USCAP and the firm selected.

VI. Subcontracting
If subcontracting of any or all work associated with the planning, production,
development and/or execution of the scope of services, that fact, and the name of
the proposed subcontractor(s) must be clearly identified in the proposal. The firm
and subcontractor(s) understand that all subcontracting arrangements are between
the firm and the subcontractor(s). The USCAP will not be held liable for any disputes
between the firm and the subcontractor(s).

VII. Right to Reject Proposals
Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions
contained in this request for proposals unless clearly and specifically noted in the
proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between the USCAP and selected
firm(s).

The USCAP reserves the right, without prejudice, to reject any and/or all proposals.
