Storage Network Request for Proposal
The Authority has released this Request for Proposal with the intent of soliciting solutions to refresh our aging storage infrastructure and, at a minimum, achieve the following objectives:
- Allow us to retire the existing storage arrays at both the production and disaster recovery facility, based on requirements listed in Section 4 of this RFP.
- Replace the existing fibre channel switches (if fibre channel is part of the solution you propose).
- Allow us to replace the existing Virtual Tape Library with a solution that provides similar functionality, in addition to the requirements listed in Section 4 of this RFP.
- Provide automated tiering based on the requirements listed in Section 4 of this RFP.
- Provide Archiving based on the requirements outlined in Section 4 of this RFP.
- Provide deduplication of our backup data.
- Propose a solution that can grow with us over the next five years.
