Storage Area Network (SAN) Upgrade
The Citys goal in this procurement is to update and expand the Citys Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure. The City
wishes to enter into a contract or contracts that will provide for the development, implementation and operation of a SAN
infrastructure providing storage resources across the enterprise. There are three distinct SAN storage solution business
requirements the City will contract for.
a) Update the existing traditional fiber channel SAN storage arrays to current technology.
b) Provide maintenance and support services of the fiber channel based SAN for a period of 3 to 5 years. This will include
new products as well as any existing products as required for migratory transition and reuse in the resulting
infrastructure.
c) Contract for the acquisition, maintenance and support of iSCSI based storage products.
