This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation notice. Please DO NOT provide a quote at this time. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socioeconomic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 622110. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
After a review of the responses to the sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted to GSA s ebuy. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to the forthcoming solicitation.
The VA in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Sterilizer Cleaner Maintenance. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) for details.
This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this sources sought notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The purpose of this sources sought is strictly for market research purposes.

Part II DESCRIPTION / SPECIFICATIONS / WORK STATEMENT
Scope of Work: The purpose of this requirement is to provide Base + 4 Option Years of Annual Sterilizer Cleaning Service for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Sioux Falls VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The service provided shall be performed in such a manner as to assure the safety and welfare of patients, visitors and staff. The SFVAHCS is located at 2501 W 22nd St., Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 57105.
Work Requirement: National Office of Sterilization requirement from handbook 1116(2) to have sterilizers terminally cleaned annually to prolong the life of steam sterilizers. para 13 g. annual de-scaling of the steam sterilizer chambers should be considered if any signs of discoloration or build-up are noted; this should be accomplished by outside professional sources.

Personnel.
Contractor shall provide: All Personnel, Equipment, and Supplies to perform Annual terminal Chamber Cleaning of steam sterilizers per National Office of Sterilization requirement Handbook.
Other Contractual Requirements not identified in the work requirement. ____

Contractor-Furnished Property and Supplies
The Contractor shall furnish and maintain in acceptable condition, at no cost to contract, all items of uniform and equipment necessary to perform work required by this contract, as discussed in this paragraph, and additional items as needed, within reason.
Contractor shall provide all equipment and supplies required to complete contract requirements.
