Steel for Charpy Program
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6- streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the Authority of FAR 13.5.
This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). All communications and documents must include the solicitation number, 1333ND19QNB640129. The contracting officer will not use, nor shall this solicitation be subject to the formal source selection procedures described in FAR Part 15. The combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-1, dated December 20, 2018.

No questions will be accepted after this date. Telephonic (verbal) questions WILL NOT be addressed. All responses to questions, which may affect offers, will be incorporated into a written amendment to the Request for Quote and will be posted to FedBizOpps.gov. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 331110, Iron and Steel Mills and Ferroalloy Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. All interested small businesses are encouraged to submit a quotation.
