Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking possible sources of supply for the acquisition of Stearic Acid to include the following:
Stearic Acid IAW Specification MIL-S-271B dated 25 May 1962, w/ Notice 1 dated 4 Jan 2000.
End use: M18 / M83 Smoke Grenade
Interested sources need to submit terms and conditions, production capability, delivery lead times, warranty, and cost estimates for budgetary purposes only. Delivery shall be FOB Destination: Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff AR. The NAICS code for this item is 325180 and the small business size standard is 1,000. Please indicate your company business size in your response and NAICS code.
There is not a firm requirement for Stearic Acid. This is for MARKET RESEARCH ONLY. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government.
