The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to negotiate firm fixed price contract. This requirement is being set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Codes is 561790 and small business size is 15 Mil. The VA Department of Veterans Affairs, Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357 has requirement for a Contractor to provide all Supervision, labor, equipment, and Supplies necessary for the steam cleaning and degreasing numerous kitchen exhaust fans and hoods in Building 2, in the kitchen and Canteen. Contractor shall clean and remove cooking by-products from all hoods and ductwork located in the canteen and kitchen areas. The Bistro Hood service shall be performed twice per month. The Bistro Hood shall be cleaned every first and third Friday or Saturday of each month. All other hoods shall be cleaned once per month (second Friday or Saturday of each month). The ductwork fans shall be cleaned quarterly in the fourth Friday or Saturday of the following months July, October and January and April. This shall include monthly cleaning of two (2) large and two (2) small hoods in the main kitchen Building 2 room 1C33 and monthly cleaning of two (2) small hoods in Canteen area Building 2 room 2F30. . Also, there shall be Bi-monthly cleaning of Hood in Bistro in Canteen area Building two 2 room 2F30. There shall be quarterly cleaning of exhaust fans connected to hoods on contract, (July, January and April) for various locations on the roof.
Contractors are strongly urged to inspect the work area before providing a quote. The only site visit will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. The site visit shall be conducted at the VA . Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda Healthcare, CA 92357, warehouse/receiving dock. Solicitation will be available on or about (O/A ) 02/23/17 with proposals due on 03/20/17 by 2:00 p.m. The VA Network 22 Logistics Office shall issue the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunity System (FEDBIZOPS). All solicitation shall be e-mailed to brian.vanorman@va.gov. The solicitation shall be e-mailed by 2:00 p.m. on 03/20/2016. The RFQ number VA262-17-Q-0334 it must be cited on the request.
