Statewide Master Contract for labor to install & repair Hirsch Velocity systems

The Department is seeking Hirsch Licensed Vendor(s) to enter into a Master Contract for installation, maintenance and repair services for Hirsch Velocity controlled-access and video surveillance systems throughout the State. The firm or firms selected to provide these services will be responsible for the full performance of all specified services on the first official working day of the contract period.
This solicitation is not for the purchase of parts, components or system design. The State has customarily maintained a master contract for the purchase of parts, components and design. The master contract vendor is at this time A-1 Lock in Springfield, contract number 4015928. All parts must be purchased using this contract (or any succeeding contract) and this vendor (or successor vendor) as long as a master contract for parts and components is in effect. All design work is to be completed by A-1 Lock or its successor vendor. Any recommended changes in design by installer must be approved by A-1 Lock or the successor vendor. Vendors awarded a contract from this solicitation will not be precluded from bidding on any future master contracts for the purchase of parts and components.
