The objectives of the SLDS should provide: complete, timely, accurate data; a statewide view; incorporated data from multiple organizations; complete flexibility for sustained growth; a historical view incorporated with present and future data models; comprehensive data definitions to build upon; crossâfunctional data management reporting; ease of access and manipulation of data to attain valuable reporting mechanisms including web access to services.
