Statewide Coordinator
Purpose: Department is soliciting proposals for a Statewide Coordinator for Federal E-Rate Assistance. The Statewide Coordinator for Federal E-Rate Assistance works with Alaskan schools and libraries in order to ensure they maintain their eligibility and application for E-Rate subsidies through a federal program. This assistance allows schools and libraries to utilize telecommunications services and provide Internet access to their constituents at a price they could not otherwise afford. This Coordinator also works with service providers and national advisory and advocacy groups and serves as the central source of information for E-Rate requirements throughout the state.
