Statement of Interest: RENOVATION & VENTILATION UPGRADE

The proposed project would provide air conditioning to the entire facility and would upgrade the steam heating
and the ventilation systems. The project would also renovate areas of the west wing portion of the building for classroom, staffing, and student use needs. This renovation
would include the theater space which has not been remodeled since construction in 1926. The theater area will eventually be used for lecture and seminar use once a
new theater is constructed on campus. LEED Silver certification may be required depending on the percentage of square footage remodeled. An atrium will also be
installed on the south end of the building to be fitted between the original 1926 building and the 1950s addition.
