State of Rhode Island Education Adequacy Study
The General Assembly is seeking the professional consulting services of a school finance consultant to conduct an education adequacy study to calculate the amount of per pupil funding necessary to support an effective and efficient system of public education that provides every child the opportunity to meet established state education performance standards. The consultant will also assist the Joint Committee in developing legislation establishing a funding formula for public education derived from the results of the study, calculating the amount of per pupil funding necessary to support student achievement to established state standards.
