The Facility is single story, occupied courthouse self parking garage below grade covered by an active landscaped plaza above. The garage facility exclusively serves the adjacent Bridgeport Courthouse. Currently the garage is under the care and custody of the Judicial Branch. The structure consists of a concrete encased steel framed super structure supporting the mildly reinforced concrete deck of the landscaped plaza.
A study has been developed regarding the water infiltration that is occurring and will be made available to the selected Consultant Design Team.
The Scope of Work shall encompass the repairs to the various components of the garage to prevent the water infiltration into the garage. Scope will also include masonry repairs, concrete, paving, electrical/plumbing work, signage improvements, painting
The selected Consultant shall also provide full expanded Construction Administrative services to act as Department of Public Works representative in the field.
Estimated construction value is $900,000.
