State and Local Legislative Consultant
Authority (RIVER AUTHORITY) is seeking professional assistance in developing strategies and programs to inform and educate elected and non-elected representatives of state, county and municipal governments that have executive, legislative and regulatory authority within the RIVER AUTHORITY’s watershed regarding the RIVER AUTHORITY’s services, projects and programs. Specifically, the RIVER AUTHORITY desires to continue state funding for existing projects and programs and identify new state funding opportunities including grants to support RIVER AUTHORITY initiatives. In addition, the RIVER AUTHORITY desires to expand its knowledge of legislation and administrative programs and rules affecting the RIVER AUTHORITY and water and wastewater issues and ensure that legislation and regulations of interest effectively support the RIVER AUTHORITY’s service goals and promote efficient and responsive operations.
