State Career & Technical Education (CTE) Plan
Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Workforce Investment Board requests grant applications for support of local educational projects that are aligned with theCTE Plan Strategies and Priorities. The department has received new state funding to support participation by local educational entities in the implementation of strategies and actions identified in the Career and Technical Education Plan. The plan states: "... must have a career and technical education system that adapts to emerging demands and opportunities, adequately prepares its residents for success in their chosen careers and provides access to training across scattered populations with vast differences in regional needs and capacities." Opportunities for projects that expand the impact of these funds through coordination with partners and leveraging of other funding sources are highlighted.
