Spud Barge 150 Ton Crawler Crane

The Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, is issuing this solicitation, for the acquisition of a new crawler crane. The crane will be placed in service on the deck of an existing barge in the South Florida operating area, primarily in and around the St. Lucie River, Lake Okeechobee, and Caloosahatchee River. The crane shall be suitable for both heavy lift work and for clamshell operations with a bucket suited to the capacity of the crane, but in no case less than 3.6 cubic yards. The crane shall be equipped with and capable of utilizing booms of 90', 100', 110', and 120'.
The ground pressure must not exceed 63psi for any operation while the crane is on the spud barge. The crane shall have two hoists as follows: main hoist and a single part whip line. The crane shall have the ability to perform OSHA approved man lifts.
