Speech and Language Pathologist Services for Medical Chart Review and Evaluation
The purpose of this RFP is to select a vendor that can satisfy the State’s need for Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) services to review and evaluate computer and paper disability claims in which a speech and/or language impairment is alleged. SLP’s will review claims (either on paper or on the computer; at this time approximately 99% of claims are computerized charts) and provide advice as to the severity of the impairment or advise if additional medical evidence is needed in order to make a decision.
